Modules in SAP

Sap is divided into 3 main modules

1. Technical
2. Basis
3. Functional

Technical Module : It is programming module of SAP . Programming is done in ABAP – Advance Business Application Program

Basis : It is the Installation Module of SAP . Installation , Networking , User Access are some of the parameters defined in Basis

Functional Modules : It contains the following Modules

PP : Production Planning

PM : Plant and Management

MM : Material Management

FI /CO : Finance and Controlling

H.R. : Human Resource

SD : Sales and Distribution
